Missing MA Box--Shelburne Falls

From: (bsennott@crocker.com) | Date: 2002-01-28 21:54:39 UTC
My sisters and nephews and I went hunting for the new Glacial Potholes Letterbox
in Shelburne Falls, Mass. on Saturday. I am sad to report that it is missing.
I'm sure we were at the right spot. We looked everywhere under the fishing pier
and nothing is there.

We did not do the nearby High Ledges box since that was beyond the boys' hiking
abilities, but we had a very nice time in Shelburne Falls all the same. They
liked seeing the potholes, which look like a lunar landscape, but the highlight
of the afternoon was How Sweet It Is, the candy shop/ice cream parlor!

Oh No! How sad. Did anyone get a chance to stamp in? Perhaps I will try
to replant in a different (more discreet) location...

We found the Glacial Potholes box on January 20, and definitely put
it back in it's original spot. Sorry to hear that its gone missing.
